My connection to yoga began in college, and it felt like coming home. I instantly felt a sense of peace and purpose I hadn't experienced before. From those early days, my practice has evolved, incorporating Power Vinyasa, Pilates, and Barre alongside my foundational Bikram training.

I am deeply passionate about sharing the transformative power of movement with others. My classes are designed to be both challenging and joyful, a space where you can build strength, cultivate mindfulness, and profoundly connect with your body.

With Evoke Power, I dream of creating a vibrant and supportive community where everyone feels welcome on their unique yoga journey. I believe that movement is a powerful tool for self-discovery, and I am honored to guide you on your path.

My yoga journey began unexpectedly when an auto mishap led me to the doorstep of a yoga studio. While initially hesitant, I quickly discovered the profound benefits of yoga for both mind and body.

Since completing my 200-hour RYT at Empower Yoga in Beverly, MA, I've had the privilege of guiding students through energetic, all-levels classes. My teaching style draws inspiration from Baptiste sequencing, emphasizing body awareness and alignment while offering modifications for all.

I believe in the power of mindfulness and levity to guide students towards their own unique yoga experience. I'm passionate about creating a supportive and encouraging environment where everyone feels welcome on their mat.

Welcome! I'm Shelby, a 200-hour RYT with a passion for vinyasa flow and trauma-informed yoga. My journey with yoga began in 2013, and it has been a constant source of balance in my life, especially as a speech-language pathologist and ASL specialist.

I believe that yoga is for everyone, regardless of experience. My classes blend slow flow, deep stretches, and invigorating power yoga, all set to an upbeat soundtrack. I'm committed to creating a supportive space where you can connect with your mind and body in a way that feels empowering and authentic to you.
